Health and Safety

We employ a full time Health and Safety manager who ensures that we comply with legislation and provide a safe working environment on all of our sites. The site managers and supervisors are directly responsible for health and safety of operations carried out under their supervision.

On-Site:

·             Produce an individual health and safety plan for every project.

·             Carry out risk assessment for all our operations and those of our specialist.

Sub-Contractors:

·             Comply with all CDM requirements and HSE directives.

Our Staff Training:

·             Induction and ongoing training in health and safety principles and procedures.

·             Regular staff meetings to refresh and update on best practice.

·             Each staff member is issued with Q-Tech’s Health and Safety Manual.

RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

We are committed to reducing unnecessary waste and minimising every type of pollution associated with the building industry.

Our Company Policy:

·             Control noise, dust, vibration and traffic disruption on site by practising “good neighbour” procedures.

·             Use recycled materials and choose suppliers whose production methods are kinder to the environment, where possible.

·             Dispose of waste responsibly.
